A favorite of local Japanese, Kiarti Thanee Country Club is ideal for higher handicappers and newer golfers. Wide fairways are common allowing average weekend players to either be on or near the greens in regulation. Kiarti Thanee is a relaxing golf course in this respect, but there are also abundant water hazards and sand traps to challenge most serious golfers. The course underwent an extensive course renovation program in 2003, which has toughened the course up a little and made it more challenging for better players from the back tees.
The 18th hole, a par 5 462 yard gem, is a good finishing hole as it can be reached in 2 by more aggressive golfers. This setups up for dramatic finishing possibilities, even if you have as much as a 2 stoke lead going into the last hole.
Two putting greens, an excellent chipping and pitching green plus a three-tiered grass driving range make Kiarti Thanee well suited for golf practice, lessons, and instruction. |
