Windsor Park is set in a large park land on the outskirts of Bangkok. The course features mature tree lined fairways, many green side bunkers, sweeping creeks and ponds, and sloping greens.
The first 27 holes consisting of Courses A, B, and C all opened the same time and share similar design characteristics. All aspects including design, challenge, beauty, and playing conditions are in perfect harmony making Windsor golf a perfect course for all players. Windsor Park Golf Club is a favorite among locals and an excellent choice for thosewho appreciate a good course that is away from the Bangkok hustle and bustle.
The most recently constructed 9 holes (course D), opened in 2006, is one of the best challenges in all Bangkok. This nine at Windsor plays around a man-made lake and requires very accurate tee and approach shots in a similar style as the exclusive member’s only Amata Springs Golf Club. Undulating and close cut greens make this nine even more of a challenge and scoring well can be very frustrating even for the best golfers.
The golf course upkeep is better than most other Bangkok courses, including the large club house which overlooks the course C 9th hole and serves excellent western breakfasts as well as the usual Thai and Asian selections. The staff is friendly and oftentimes they have ongoing beer promotions featuring ice cold local brew on tap. A great way to wrap up a day at this Bangkok golf course!
